Description
Bipod of the well-known type: “Atlas”.
The Atlas differs from the two-legged hawks so far, mainly in the legs that can be tilted at 45 degrees. This has been hooked up by many manufacturers, especially in Asia, and they have all released their own version.
Those followers have in common with Atlas (“made by Midway”) that they use the same central block in cast light metal with the name “Atlas”.
The expert sees quite quickly that such a bipod is a MIdway-Atlas, or a follower.
Although there are many such followers on the market, which are “less reliable”, KSS has found one that scores well in terms of operation, durability, and robustness for use under an air rifle.
There are very good Atlas replicas, good Atlas replicas and less good Atlas replicas. They are difficult to distinguish from each other.
We have carefully selected ours on the basis of minimal play on the angle adjustment, the play-free quick adjustment of the leg length and the smooth adjustment of the (lockable) tilt and turn joint. We also paid attention to the skid resistance of the rubber of the (exchangeable) feet!
In addition, in every bipod we have provided the tilt and turn joint with a drop of unsurpassed nano-oil and the fastening lever of a lick of equally nano-fat.
The bipod offered by us scores in terms of operation, life span, robustness, ease of use, etc. very good for use under an air rifle.
Height: adjustable from 115mm to 225mm; weight 350 grams
Mounting: quick coupling on piccatiny rail.
